Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of the Dropa platform - including the marketing website at getdropa.com, the tenant storefront pages at getdropa.com/tenant/[company-name]/ or [company-name].getdropa.com, the Dropa Operator Portal at app.getdropa.com, or the Dropa Rider mobile application - you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the platform.
For some parts of the platform, additional or separate agreements apply. See Section 2 for details.
2. Scope - What These Terms Cover and What They Do Not
These Terms of Use apply to:
- Visitors to the Dropa marketing website (getdropa.com).
- Customers and senders who book deliveries, track packages, or create an account through a tenant storefront (getdropa.com/tenant/[company-name]/) or ([company-name].getdropa.com).
These Terms do not apply to the following relationships, which are governed by separate agreements:
- Tenant operators: If you are a logistics or courier business using the Dropa Operator Portal to run your operations, your use of the portal is governed by the Dropa Operator Agreement, which will be presented to you at onboarding on the Operator Portal. The Operator Agreement covers your subscription, billing, permitted use of the platform, data processing obligations, and the commercial relationship between your business and BBI International Limited.
- Riders: If you are a delivery rider using the Dropa Rider mobile application, your use of the app and your engagement with deliveries are governed by the Dropa Rider Agreement, which is presented when you register on the Rider app. The Rider Agreement covers your onboarding, job terms, payment/payout structure, and conduct requirements.
If you are unsure which agreement applies to you, contact us at support@getdropa.com.
3. Marketing Website - Visitors
The marketing pages at getdropa.com provide information about Dropa's logistics platform and allow prospective customers and operators to learn about the product.
Viewing the marketing site does not create any contractual relationship between you and BBI International Limited, and does not give you any right to use the Dropa platform.
4. Sender Accounts and Delivery Bookings
Senders and customers who book deliveries through a tenant storefront are doing so through a logistics service operated by an independent tenant operator (a courier or dispatch company). BBI International Limited provides the technology platform that enables those operators to run their storefronts - we are not the delivery company and are not a party to the delivery contract between you and the operator.
When you create a sender account or book a delivery, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, complete, and current information; (b) use the booking service only for lawful purposes; (c) not misrepresent the contents, value, or nature of packages; and (d) comply with any additional terms set by the specific tenant operator whose storefront you are using.
Account responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@getdropa.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Guest bookings: If you book a delivery without creating an account, your contact details (name, phone, and optionally email) will be used to confirm and track the delivery. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Payment: Online payments for deliveries are processed by Paystack in accordance with Paystack's own terms. Cash-on-delivery amounts are collected by the rider as directed by the operator. Refunds and disputes relating to a specific delivery should be directed to the tenant operator in the first instance.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Dropa platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Scrape, crawl, spider, or systematically extract content from any part of the platform using automated means without our prior written consent.
- Use the platform to transmit spam, unsolicited communications, malicious code, or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its backend systems, or another user's account.
- Reproduce, publish, or distribute platform content without our express written permission.
- Use the platform to book deliveries for prohibited, illegal, or dangerous goods, or to facilitate any unlawful activity.
- Interfere with the operation of the platform or impair another user's ability to use it.
- Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with any person or organisation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have violated these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Dropa platform - including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, page layouts, software, and the Dropa name and brand - is owned by or licensed to BBI International Limited and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.
You may view and print marketing pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from platform content for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
Tenant operators who customise their storefronts (brand colours, logos, business names) retain ownership of their own branding. By uploading business branding to the platform, operators grant BBI International Limited a limited licence to use and display that content to operate the storefront.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The platform may link to or integrate with third-party services - including WhatsApp, social media profiles, Google Maps, and Paystack. These are provided for functionality or convenience only.
We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, security, or availability. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy.
8. Disclaimers
The platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty - express or implied - including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the platform will be available at all times, error-free, or free from interruptions or security vulnerabilities. Information may change at any time without notice.
BBI International Limited is a technology provider. We are not a courier or delivery company, and we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any delivery made by a tenant operator through the platform. Delivery-related disputes are between you and the relevant tenant operator.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, BBI International Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of - or inability to use - the platform, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our aggregate liability to you in connection with the platform, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, shall not exceed NGN 50,000 (fifty thousand Naira) or the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nigerian law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation shall be referred to the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to whose exclusive jurisdiction both parties irrevocably submit.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time by posting the revised version with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you - for example, via a notice on the platform or (for registered users) by email.
Your continued use of the platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
